To do research in the University, it has
his origins from his foundation, expiring with the Art. 2, of
the Law of Top Education, relative to the
"development of the scientific investigation,
as a systematic search of new knowledge to enrich the scientific
and social reality " of our country.
From the constitution until now, there have been elaborated
dozens of works of institutional investigation, and hundreds
of works of thesis, which they approach in the main, eminently
social, juridical, economic and educational topics.
Nowadays, the investigation has risen up to the range of National
Direction, from where the limits are established for the development
of the investigation in three fundamental areas:
the subject
investigation, the degree investigation and the institutional
investigation.
The research is being in charge of the Director who possesses
the support of full-time teachers for the development of his
investigations in the center and both Regional Centers.
The Plan of Institution building focuses in the strategic
Axis
No. 1 Teaching Quality and Innovation, the Investigation and
the Social Projection, which offers the strategic lines of to
research, that he shares with the functions of Teaching and
Social Projection.
