Precedents
The Social service
department was born in June 1996, under the approach
of the new administration and inside a scheme centralized in
UPAN San Salvador.
The UPAN social service is considered to be
the vehicle that
takes charge students and professors to a direct connection
with the social, economic, educational, cultural and political
reality of El Salvador, where the University moves the managers
to the communities to designing, structuring, executing projects
and activities that later will be translated in props of the
local development. This one turns an indispensable requirement
as part of the knowledge acquired in the classrooms that must
crystallize in a projection, in a reason or effect, in his benefit
to the company, specially to the weaker sectors.
